AVIV has been founded to promote the use of F.S.C. Certified
Eucalyptus Cloeziana poles and pilings in the USA. Due to the high
silica content in the hardwood these poles and pilings have a natural
resistance to woodborers in salt water. They are also resistant to
carpenter ants and termites on land.
NO CHEMICAL TREATMENT NEEDED.

To complete marine construction we also promote O.L.B. Certified
hardwood species such as AZOBE, BILINGA, OKAN and TALI from
West Africa and MASSARANDUBA (F.S.C. Certified) from Brazil.
These species are extremely durable (Class I ) , attractive and can be
delivered with or without our patented profiles.

Our wood species for marine construction are an eco-friendly
alternative to species presently used, which might need chemical
treatments. Considering the life span of the decking, the costs of our
products are in line with other less durable wood products.
